Race Refunds
In general Howling Adventurer LLC will not issue race refunds for this event. If you or your dog(s) are unable to race for some reason we will handle it on a case-by-case basis. One possibility is to roll over to another race or a second option is to donate your refund to our partner organization. It is not my intent to take your money, and to be totally transparent what happens is 3.5% CC fee, a 2% cancellation fee from my merchant account and then yet another 3.5% refund fee. Most people, when they add up all the fees, would rather see their race entry go to one of our partnering non-profit companies. If you choose this option, I can also help you get charity credit for your race entry fee. If you still really want or need a refund, we can work it out but I will not be able to offer any refunds after 20 Jan 2025.

No Snow Race Plan
In case of poor snow or no snow we will still have the race. I think it’s important that after all your training we still race so we have received permission from River Bend to also Bikejoring and CaniCross. So here is how it will work.
1. We will make a weather call no later than 48 hours before the race. We have to have grooming time. If Snow conditions are poor, we will change to the following
2 The FDF long course will become a 12-15km bikejoring event
3. The FDF short course will become a 5km CaniCross event
4. Racers will have the option during sign up to choose what their alternate event will be. If you do not want to do either event you will also have the option of donating your money to our non-profit partner.
